Seventeen .45s never fit in the hand so easily

I'm excited to try out my new AGP Arms mag extension for my XD. It adds +3, and it came with an extra 20%-power magspring. I even got one for my XD40 buddy that adds +4 capacity for X-mas.

UPDATE!
Range Report: The AGP extension functioned almost flawlessly in my XD45. The slide locked back on the last round every time, and I had no misfeeds, slow-feeds or jams in about 50 rounds. The ONLY thing I could possibly complain about is that after I took my gun home and was examining the bore, I noticed a very small sliver of copper jacket from what was either a WWB FMJ or a Federal Bonded JHP +P, because that's all I was shooting that day. It was barely the size of say, a toenail clipping, but I thought it may have come from a harsh feed, or possibly a spectacular limpwrist as I was shooting with my girlfriend, who had never fired much more than paintballs before that day.

Hahaha, great job with the book under the XD! I thought about getting a couple of those extensions since my XD45c is mainly my HD weapon now. I'd like to hear some reviews from early adopters before I buy one though.

This makes me happy! Also, that book is great. Try World War Z as well.

I have two of the Aradondos for my 9mm, they are showing flaws. I have the extra Aradondo spring in them but I have had FTFes in the middle of mags when they were brand new, now both of them are failing to hold the slide open on last round fired. At this point I cant reccomend them. I have some AGPs on order, we'll see.

Damn. It's all I can do to conceal the monster with the 13 round mag. Can't imagine where I'd hide the other inch and a quarter.

I practice a lot. I don't need that many rounds.

The XD40 extension is $15, but it doesn't come with the extra-power spring (evidently not needed?). The 45 extension is $21, and I'm glad someone spoke up about the Arredondo's; I was going to purchase a few and compare the two, but now I suppose that's not necessary. Then again, you spoke about problems with the 9mm version, and I don't think that extension comes with a spring either, if I remember correctly. Springer Precision sold the mag springs with the extensions as a package.

I don't think I'd have the extended magazine in if I were carrying, but it would definitely be my spare. The damn thing already prints bad enough on me as it is.
