trigger jobs or....?

i was at the range with a buddy of mine yesterday and i was shooting my 45 tac and he had his tactical glock in .40 and we traded and i hate glocks but the trigger on his was a little different than mine. i am wondering if there is any work that can be done to the XD that will allow it to rengage easier. What i mean is when i shoot my first shot the trigger has to come so far back in order for my next shot i want to minimize that if possible. Thank you and i am sorry if i sound lost it is early.

There's quite a bit of information and reviews about the Springer kit, Canyon Creek works on them, and there's also info on how to do it yourself if you're a tinkerer or mechanically inclined.

+9!! for Springerprecision!! Tell Scott what you want in a trigger - shorter takeup, shorter reset, specific trigger pull weight - and you will be absolutely amazed at what you get.

Fantastic turn times and superior customer support after the sale/work as well. Can't beat it!

What if you want

ONLY shorter reset and crisper break - is this possible?

AND, can you do it yourself?

(I'm not inclined to spend $200, and I am handy with guns).

check out my vid, this is a self done trigger job using stock parts. it requires drilling and tapping the trigger bar and the sear to add metal to it where the springer sear has it. me and agalindo did both of these trigger jobs on our guns before aftermarket parts were available so we took a big chance. its pretty simple if you need more detail you can pm me or agalindo.

this is as short and light as i could get it without having light primer strikes.

I don't want SHORT or LIGHT

All I want is LESS reset, and a crisp break. There is a HUGE advantage to the take up travel that is already on these guns. HOWEVER, the reset IS a bit long compared to my CZs, so all I want is shorter reset and a bit more crisp letoff. I have no interest in making the pull lighter or shorter (reduced travel).
