Got my XD45C today!!
I picked it up today and I have to say it is amazing. I have to thank myk9noseknows for the smooth transaction and the awesome gun. Also, thanks to you forum guys for all the help. Cant wait for this weather to clear up so I can shoot it. The sights are currently off of it, anybody have any recommendations on who to send it to to get them put back on? Springer? And when they put them on will they sight it in?

K9 took them off when he got it to put TFO's on it but he never got around to it.

If you want any of the sights that the springfield custom shop offers, they're actually cheaper than MSRP

I used James at XD-hs2000.com for my sight installation. He did a great job installing TFO sights, which I highly recommend, on all 3 of my XD45s. I think he charges around $20, which includes return postage of the slide with sights installed. No need to "sight in" the new sights, when properly installed they will be "sighted in".

A good smith will likely shave the new sights down a bit so it doesnt take Hercules to take them off next time.
