I agree, XD is a great gun, but it knows who its daddy is. 1911!

45 tac is only pistol i have right now but it is definatly my fav out of every hand gun i have fired

As much as I like my SIG P220 and P226 I am seriously considering trading them in on an XD45C Service and an XD40 Service to go with my XD45C Tactical.

Welcome to the world of XD's from the Great White North.

Glad you are as impressed with your XD45 as the rest of us! Great choice. I like mine better than my XD9. And it's plastic and not a "treat" so I don't mind if she gets bruised and abused a bit unlike my 1911.

Welcome from Arkansas- I have the SA SC 9- It's my carry gun- Can't say enough good things about it!!! This is also my first post and am myself a newbie- Have been reading as many posts and threads as possible (about 2 hours a day for the past 3 weeks!) What a wealth of information!!!
