I think the answer is SA is having a hard time keeping up with production for the models they currently market and sell, and don't need to make another configuration and complicate the situation.

Just my guess.

To many people want the ones that are the color of something you find in a diaper.

Bi-Tone is always the last to be made.
I e-mailed SA last week about this and they said none in the near future.

Well, I just got back the slide from Tripp Research 2 days ago and as promised...here are some pics. They also installed TruGlo TFO sights for me as well. I think they did a fantastic job myself! (please note that I've blanked out the serial number, so that's not within the finish...just bad photoshop!)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!

What's with the red on the forward firing block pin?

Can you get some pictures up with the compact magazine in there??

Sure, I'll take some more photos and get em up in the morning.

As for the red...that's the replacement they give you when you get the Lasermax laser for under the barrel. It replaces the stock one.

....is that whatcha mean!?

That looks really nice XD45Compact_NY .
I'm trying to decide between Tripp's and Robar to do my guns.
Perhaps you should look into getting that barrel polished.
Then that pistol would be the SH*T.

It looks great............

As promised....here they are. Hope you like em.

AS far as pricing goes:
Cost to hard chrome a slide is $105 and the cost to install the sights is $25 if you send the sights. Add return shipping of approx $17

They had the slide for about 10 shop days and I didn't expedite the shipping so total time w/o the slide was about 2 weeks. By the way...this slide was originally Duracoated which I thought came out like crap (was starting to chip already)...so as part of the prep....they just entirely removed it prior to the Hardchoming. There was no additional charge on this, etc....just normal prep.

Happy holidays!
