Voided Warranty

What mods will void the warranty on my XD?
grip chop?
trigger work?
anything that permanently modifies my XD?
i wanted to do a grip chop but on a gun u cant get parts for i think that mite be a mistake.

grip chop / stippling / the such only effect the warranty of those parts.

+1 it's been confirmed by Springfield. the gun is the sum of it's parts and all the parts are warranted separately. a part is broken all the way down until it's a single piece.

What warranty ?

My slide has scratch marks below the front sight and SA said I would need to pay to have the custom shop repair it. It has never been in any holster other than the one that came with it and a Don Hume leather. I think you may be on your own unless it falls in half..

well i wouldnt think scratches would be their problem. its not something that they did every used gun has wear on it if they fixed every scratch they would be constantly refinishing guns. they didnt cause it so why should they have to fix it?
