Recoil spring manufacturers
Hello to all
I am excited to have found this forum as I have just purchased a Tactical Compact. Thanks for the wealth of information. Planning on sending the gun to Springer for trigger work. Installing a tungsten guide rod, and adjustable sights for now. My question is what are the choices in springs? It appears Pistol Gear has a few but only up to 20#. |

When it comes to XD45ACP Tactical springs, your options range from 14 to 20#. 20# is the max and quite heavy. Anything less than 16# with the 45ACP and you may have some issues with the gun not going into full battery. It if for these reasons that carry what we do. This assumes you are using the stock rod.
If you use Don's Skinny XD45ACP rod, you have a few more options in the way of springs, with the heaviest being 24#s. OS
