Modifications

Howdy fellow xd shooters,
i recently bought a 4" 45 acp. i don't remember much else i was in a very serious car accindent less than a half hour after i bought it, it was found at the crash site 2 days later because it busted out of the case. i only fired two rounds out of it (busted collar bone.) but i was wondering if someone could recomend the most accurate and durable modifications? any help will be appreciated. thanks Steve

Glad you are OK. Try some of the sponsors on this board. Good folk from what I've seen and heard.

Welcome.

thanks

thanks i read some things about different barrels, bar-sto i believe, has anybody used them. ported or compensated? how about sights? i now everybody has their preferences but when your free handed which one shows no space between the black part around the dots? i noticed the stock ones do. or is their any type of site where the front is shaped like an up side down "t" and the back one is a line, and you have to line them up? i was just day dreaming and thinking this would be an accurate sight.

while a new barrel and trigger work would be nice, all I recommend is a set of night sights, mags, ammo, and range time

Personally, I wouldn't take a chance with them. I'd go out and buy some new ammo. Because if you have a round blow out inside your chamber, it's gonna be a REALLY bad day. It's definitely worth the cost vs. risking that.
