Modifications
Howdy fellow xd shooters,
i recently bought a 4" 45 acp. i don't remember much else i was in a very serious car accindent less than a half hour after i bought it, it was found at the crash site 2 days later because it busted out of the case. i only fired two rounds out of it (busted collar bone.) but i was wondering if someone could recomend the most accurate and durable modifications? any help will be appreciated. thanks Steve |

Glad you are OK. Try some of the sponsors on this board. Good folk from what I've seen and heard.
Welcome.

thanks
thanks i read some things about different barrels, bar-sto i believe, has anybody used them. ported or compensated? how about sights? i now everybody has their preferences but when your free handed which one shows no space between the black part around the dots? i noticed the stock ones do. or is their any type of site where the front is shaped like an up side down "t" and the back one is a line, and you have to line them up? i was just day dreaming and thinking this would be an accurate sight.

while a new barrel and trigger work would be nice, all I recommend is a set of night sights, mags, ammo, and range time

Personally, I wouldn't take a chance with them. I'd go out and buy some new ammo. Because if you have a round blow out inside your chamber, it's gonna be a REALLY bad day. It's definitely worth the cost vs. risking that.
