I am getting one of these now! (Silencer related!)

And don't give me the "it's a suppressor crap!" If the manufacturer calls it a silencer, I'll call it a silencer.

btw-
your clip just fell out.....

ahahaha!

Now I just have to figure out how to attach it to my XD45 4".

I tried a search but no joy.

You'll probably need some sort of linear inter-decoupler... L.I.D (I think this is what Gemtech calls theirs) it relieves some of the downward pressure on the barrel of browning type actions so that the slide will cycle properly.

Edit: they call them pistons.

We have pistons available threaded for most popular .45 semiautomatic pistols.
At the least you'll need an aftermarket barrel threaded the correct pitch.

Or you can talk to AAC and see if they can modify your factory XD barrel, but I don't think it has the clearance.

They may call it a silencer, but there's no such thing. Suppressor is a better description.

Feel free to call it what you wish. They're a lot of fun to shoot. Around here, a lot of my shooting buddies have them. I'm getting one soon in 22LR.

I had a H&K Tactical USP .45 for a while, and I got a silencer for mine. It was pretty fun to shoot. I'll tell you what, you'll get ALOT of looks from other guys on the range when you pull out your pistol and attach a silencer to it. It makes it almost worth the money just for the looks and comments you'll get for it.

How can you attach 12 ounces to the muzzle of a pistol and:

"... preserves the balance and handling
characteristics of the pistol..."

Cool piece of equipment, however.
