Rail mounted Tactical Light Recommendations

Hello all, I am interested in purchasing a rail mounted tactical light for my Springfield Armory XD-45. It is my bedside night defense firearm.
I would like some recommendations for a very good high quality light.
Any experience with the following :
Insight SSL-1
Glock Tactical Light
springfield XML
Streamlight TLR-1 / TLR-2
Any additional suggestions would be appreciated.
Best regards and thanks to all.

I have an XML on my 9SC on my headboard. The XML is awsome but when the battery goes dead it just goes out all at once, no warning.

There is alot of info on both! I am probably going to pick up the tlr-2 for my new 45 compact! I also considered the m6x. Both are tac light/laser combos! One tip check gun broker and ebay first before paying retail!

I'd rather have my XD and not need it, then need it and not have it....

I have the Glock GTL 21 -- fits UNDER the muzzle on the 5" Tactical and so no muzzle blast hitting the light. Nice controls, well made, easy to use.

Not a big fan of Glock pistols, but find that their stuff is seriously solid and relibable.

I have the XML, Glock light/laser, and a Streamlight M3 LED.
The output of the XML is OK, but the Glock and Streamlight are really bright.

TLR-1 is a great light and great bang for the buck.
