Gotta admit, not a fan of the 45 trigger
My HS2000 has about 5600 rounds through it. The trigger has always been pretty crisp since new but with it wearing in, I have not felt a better factory XD trigger than it.
The XD40SC I bought earlier this year has a bit more creep in the trigger, but it's still decent. XD45 I just picked up sucks. Totally, absolutely sucks. It feels like a 1st generation Glock trigger, except with a very long reset. It's much worse than my duty Glock 22's trigger (which is suprisingly sweet). I'm hoping a few thousand rounds will help it smooth out and get rid of the creep. If not, I guess I'm getting it worked on. My friend has a 45 tactical that he got last year and it was just as bad.

I am up around 1500 rounds through my xd45 and the trigger has definitely changed from a crisp break to a er.. less crisp break. It doesn't bother me, but it is something i noticed.

The trigger on my XD .45ACP Tactical, purchased about 2 years ago, was nasty, much worse than my XDSc 9 and XD .40 Service.
The reset alone made virgins cry. I got a CC trigger job and now it's one of the smoothest shooting guns I own.

CC = Canyon Creek. Unless it's something else. Canyon Creek also has products available at Pistol Gear.

Canyon Creek did a beautiful competition trigger on my XD45Tactical.
Springer did a beautiful carry trigger on my XD.40 Service. My carry 9mm is untouched to keep all the internet-lawyers happy.

Hey Tard, why did you use CC for one trigger job and Springer for the other? Just curious because I need one done bad on my XD45Service and it seems like both places get great reviews.

I got the competition trigger done by CC before I knew about Springer. CC's reputation for 'range' triggers was so strong and this is a trigger for Range Competition ONLY, way too light for carry. I did the Springer trigger job because it seemed people were really strong on his CARRY jobs which was what I wanted and supposedly the CC job replaces a lot of internal parts, NOT what I wanted in my carry trigger job. Mostly I wanted the reset shortened and the trigger crisped-up a bit, it's at 5#. So, I don't really have a solid answer here, both jobs were great and I'd go back to either again.
