I'll be getting an XD-45 compact in a few weeks and I need to know if the 45 fits the same kydex holsters as my XD-9s? I generally run metal guns in leather ( Galco or DeSantis ) but I put my plastic guns in plastic holsters for all-weather/sweat conditions. I'll probobly look to Fobus if they have a belt version ( dont care for the paddle types ). Who makes good plastic mag pouches for the 45? I havent been very happy with Fobus in that area ( the 9mm mags keep working themselves out ).

I have looked at alot of different holsters for my xd-45. from what I have seen and read, the holsters for the XD 9/40/357 will all work for the 45 as well. if you look at your xd gear holster that came with your 9mm, it is the same as the xd-45 gear holster. As far as holsters and mag holders, I personally recommend and use Comp-Tac. They are outstanding quality, and great customer service. thier website is Comp-Tac.com

I just bought an IWB from Blade-Tech. It was listed as fitting the XD9/40/45.

Yes. All of my holsters (Crossbreed QuikClip, Uncle Mike's Paddle, Bianchi Evader, and my recently ordered Blackhawk CQC Serpa) were listed as XD-9/XD-40. They all run just fine.

My #1 recommendation would be Blade-tech.

Blade tech is what I have for my 9s and I like it quite a bit, I'll have to get a couple for the 45 when I buy.

I just bought an XD45 4" this week. It's a little snug in the Milt Sparks and Comptac holsters that I have for my XD9 but it's breaking in nicely. The 45 is a tad thicker than the 9.
