I agree about the feel of the XD, and welcome from Northern Michigan.

Ballistically while the 45 may not move that quickly, I became convinced about effectiveness when I read a report about what the results of the cartridge are based on it's frontal area. Made sense to me big time!

I might save up the big && some day to see if the HK's are really that accurate, but then I could have a 1911 that most certainly WOULD be!

Yeah, I have the G30 and the XD is better for me so far. Conceals better.
