My Blackhawk SERPA holster doesn't really pull the but of my XD in close enough to my body for great CC unless you are wearing a jacket or something, but that is true with most paddles I suppose. Other than that it is a good holster as are some of the others mentioned. It is definitely better than the free Fobus paddle I got with the XD (in addition to the included Fobus).

K&D (mentioned above) does a great job - hard to go wrong with them. I once wore a Bob Mernickle paddle holster with a 5 inch XD and thought it was VERY comfy ... not all that concealable but quite comfy.
Also one from the BearClaw Holsters website ...

Well first off thank you for all the suggestions. I ended up ordering the M5X MATRIX
SPRINGFIELD - XD 45 SERVICE 4" I got the holster off eBay for $19.99 delivered. The gun seems to fit very good and it is comfortable to wear. It has only been an hour so far, but for the money it seems very good. Time will tell!!! The gun locks into the holster with a good push and drawing is smooth. I will give it a couple weeks to really get a feel for it. I am not a fan of plastic holsters, but this one seems quite good. |

JL,
I have a Matrix M7X -- the snap-on slide model. Let me know how you like it, and if you have a chance, please post a pic as I'm curious how it sits. Let us know how you like it! Fyr

Well the Galco M5X seems real nice. I like the way the gun clicks into the holster. It is easier than reholstering into the leather Safariland 528 I bought first. Fits fairly tight to my round body.
![]() ![]() By the way the Safariland 528 is going on eBay unless someone here is intrested in it. |
