It will vary by shooter, ammo, ect.. The average firearm can far out shoot the average person holding it.

The only way to tell for sure is to put it in a mount so there is no human interaction at all.

What kind of groups are you getting?

That's a pretty good group if you are new to pistols. Are they center on the target or are you shooting low, high, left, right?

Don't know if this will help, but with my Compact .45 I regularly get 2" or less groups at 15 yards, hand held, standing, slow fire. My match grade barrel (before it busted) was slightly better. Scott Springer does even better than that rapid fire. Go to his website and watch the video - the man is just not from this planet!

I'm sorry but, I'm going to have to call "Bullshiot" on the 3.5" groups at 25 yards unless you mean only a couple here and there out of the mag.

Can I take that bet??? Please.

Our demo gun that went to testing for a couple articles average 1.01" over 13 brands of ammo at 15 yards, the smallest group of 5 shots was .85" from a bench. That was with a match grade barrel, if you get a decent factory barrel that accuracy of the gun should be within the 3.5"-4" range.

That doesn't mean the ordinary shooter can shoot that well, but don't think the gun can't.

Good for you but, no bet was offerred and we're not talking about modified XDs being shot from a bench. Does anyone here go to the range and shoot their XD from a bench? I was calling BS on the guy who is new to pistols getting 3" groups @ 25 yards.
