Just finished a defensive pistol skills class and over two days ran over 400 230 FMJ handloads through the XD compact and it was a flawless performance. Some of the skill drills were non-stop, 3 mag reload strings on multiple targets and it ate the ammo like a fat kid at a buffet. even the 25 yard precision work was commendable with the XD trigger.

One downfall, the factory sights are not the best for close combat... think i'll be seeking out a set of big dots before the next class.

TruGlo TFOs have worked well on my XD45.
