Don't you just love that feeling!?!?
When you did so much shooting on a weekend that come monday you feel like you've been in a fist fight?
My hands hurt, my shoulder hurts, I am getting old! TYFOON

I hear you, dude
I feel beat up after a 300 round day with the 9mm's and .45's together. I went out yesterday to put 100 rds through my new Taurus PT145SSP and I had a little slit in the skin on my trigger finger just below where I make contact with the trigger. When I was finished shooting the damned thing was full out bleeding from the recoil tearing it open . . . Hurts like hell today.

Heh,
100 rounds of HOT .44 magnum 5 rounds of .454 Casull 1 round of .460 S&W 250 rounds of 9mm and 50 rounds of .223 yesterday and today my wrists feel like I'd been sleeping in push-up position!

Just these 6 rounds would render me useless for a day

Yeah
I was shooting a buddies. He dared me to do it and I just couldn't go out looking like a chicken! Needless to say, I've never been able to FEEL recoil in my FACE before from a pistol....its a unique feeling

No doubt! I understand the M44 has a reputation for being a bit of a kicker and quite the fire-breather as well!

I know exactly what you mean, I have shot both the shorter barrel versions of the S&W 500 and S&W 460 and I can vouch for recoil that seemes to like a wall. It is an awsome thing!!

I am still trying to figure out the recoil in the face thing, though.
