Well everybody, I have had my xd-45 a little over 2 months and I have been using it in my police academy. Man it is a great gun, we have just started with are qualifying shoots and today i shot a 195 out of 200 on the Colorado POST course. the only reason why i missed one round is because that round did not leave my barrel cause i was too slow.

Nice shooting. Git 'r done. Are you qualifying with the XD as your personal carry weapon in addition to whatever the PD issues for a pistol?

I am hoping that what ever pd I get on will let me use my xd as my duty weapon. In the future I plan on getting a 1911 if my department will allow it, as my duty weapon. I also plan on getting an xd subcompact as my on and off duty concealed carry.
