Found the checkbook. I'd slid it in an inside pocket of a day-planner I converted into an undercover gun carrier. No, I don't normally carry like this, but sometimes I'll transport my backup gun out to the car in such a bag, then position it as a car gun. The carrier looks like a day-planner because it is one. That reminds me, I've got to get a smaller BUG. Once I buy the .45, my 9sc will become my BUG. Now I just have to work up the courage to balance my checkbook... |

I have the Service, my buddy has a Tactical and I shoot equally with both within combat range. Out farther the difference is marginal at best. The thing is....in SD if you are throwing bullets at someone past 25 feet, you have bigger issues then worrying between the 4" and 5".
Try both in the rig you are going to use and pick the one that is the most comfortable.. Don't choose one because people who have never fired a firearm in self defense tell you that the 5" will make a big difference. |

I can't even carry a 4" barrel in front of the hip without it jabbing me when i sit down. My sub compact works better, but i still wouldnt call it comfortable.
I carry em both at around 8:00 (lefty) if possible, which it is 90% of the time. |
