Has anyone tried heavier bullets? What shapes/brands will feed reliably in the XD45?

I saw the article and looked at the loads he recommended, and while I found his conclusions interesting, I don't think I'm going to go to any great trouble to duplicate his loads. My press is a Dillon progressive, and when I get it set for one bullet, I tend to load several hundred rounds at a time. Since I have several guns that wouldn't work with the heavier bullets, I'd have to make limited loading runs just for the XD. One of my loads uses a 230-grain round nose lead bullet that is nearly identical in length and bullet ogive to standard hardball, and it works flawlessly in both my XD pistols, along with working in all my 1911s. That's as heavy as I plan to go for shooting in semi autos.

If I were going to experiment, however, I think a 250 would be an interesting idea. I've loaded 250-grain SWCs in .45 Auto Rim with very good results.
