Personally I don't think that much of the polymer holsters and I have three of them. The one that came with my XD45, the paddle version of that holster and the Fobus version for my P220. None of which are as comfortable or conceal as well as the cheap, but all leather, pancake holster I had for the Series 70 1911 I had years ago.

The problem with any polymer holster is that its shape is fixed when it is manufactured. To conceal well the holster must conform to the lines of your body which a polymer holste cannot do. ASAP, I will be looking for a good leather pancake style holster for both of my guns. Until someone comes up with a polymer which will mold to the body and holds both the butt and barrel of the gun in close to the body I will stay with leather.

I agree with Archer. I have yet to find a plastic holster that I was happy with for the reasons he stated.
I have been using a DeSantis "mini slide" holster with my XD45 Service model and am quite happy with it. It rides high enough to hide under a medium length jacket and has just enough forward cant to adequately conceal the grip.

I agree leather is where its at when it comes to comfort and concealment. For both my XD .45 service and my FN five-seven's I purchased three rigs each, black, cordovan, and light brown from a custom shop for an awesome price. Check them out.

The best concealment holster I have found for the XD45 is the Crossbreed Supertuck which has a leather back and kydec holster.

Of the all leather Dakota Defender

These are both IWB holster if you are wanting an OWB holster take a look at:

The #42 Driving to Crossdraw holster is very versatile
