If you are worried about the leather at the top digging into your side, you can order it with a combat grip. It'll cost $5 more and he will trim the leather for you. Some guys like that because it allows you to grip more of the pistol when you draw. I suggest getting it as is. Then if you don't like it, you can send it back and he will trim it for you. Or, you can get out the x-acto knife and some shoe polish and do it yourself. |

Great timing on this thread, I was looking for an excuse to show off my new K&D Cochise Defender IWB. This is my first K&D holster (not my first holster!). I looked very extensively at all the possible choices and sources and liked what I saw and heard of K&D. Kevin was excellent to work with - great service and it was delivered when he said it would be -- not something you see a lot of these days. The quaility of the holster is far above what I even expected and the cost was about the same as an off-the-shelf brand.
I also have a holster on order from High Noon for my Kahr with a 15-week "Production Time" but after 12 weeks I found out that my order had just entered "Production" so it is really 27 weeks for a holster (that's 6 months!). I'm not sure if that was my fault for reading it wrong or if that's deceiving advertising. I have a certain fondness for deer (I know, its subtle, but I do) and Kevin at K&D added a deer hoofprint. I ordered my second K&D soon after the first (and after the High Noon) and have both in my hands now. I can't recommend these holsters enough! ![]()

I've heard good things about that holster. No kidding about Highnoon. I have three High Noon holsters in production. Two are Tailgunners, one being horsehide which is about 12 weeks into production. I hope they're worth the wait.
