New OD Green Tactical
A while back I traded my black Service model for an FN Fiveseven. I have wanted a Green Tactical for quite a while.

Well I walked into my local gun store yesterday and what did I see? A new OD Green Tactical Since It was my B-Day, it came home with me. Its a great thing when the wife thinks all guns look the same

Im sorry. I assumed that because I posted in the XD45 forum that all would know it is a .45 I feel fortunate to have found an OD Green Tac. .45

Now for a trip to Springer for a trigger job. I have a set of NIB Meprolights for a Sig P220/226 that need a good home. Anyone know if they will fit the XD45? The dovetails seem to line up and fit together. Sight height is the same.

LOL, Here goes another gun counter rant from me, My buddy wanted to get a XD45 service in the OD Green (money in hand ready to buy or have ordered). The guy behind the gun counter told him XD45 service models don't come in OD Green and he walked away......IDIOT!!!!! Anyway my rant for the day!!!! Congrats on the new gun and Happy Birthday and Happy shooting.

I just purchased the "the other color". Not OD green but some kind of earth tone. I think that it is the desert color. I cant find the name of the color. Exen on the Springfield web site. They do, however, mention the OD green. Havent fired her yet going to the range later today. Congrats on your purchase.

Dark earth is the color I just got as well. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a dark earth with night sights. Those are out of stock everywhere I checked, so I got the dark earth without, and will put on some better sights later.
