I have 2 Blackhawk Serpa holsters. One model fits both pistols, & it say' XD45 on the label on the bag that they came in!

I have a Serpa for my XD .45 and it doesn't rattle at all. If the adjustment screw doesnt solve your problem, I would suggest sending it back. You could also line the inside surfaces with some sticky velcro (the soft side of the velcro), which will tighten it up a little as well as reduce wear on your pistol. Just a thought...if you feel like "jerry rigging" it.

Rattles

I am using a CQC Serpa on my XD 45 , a Glock 9mm and an FN 5.7----No Rattles on any of them, can only suggest-- if loose contact Blackhawk they are a Great Company and care about their products...Small piece of padded tape sounds like a fix but you should have a snug fit without it.......Good luck, hope you get it resolved

I don't know what to make of this. Some people notice a rattle some don't. Is it a difference in opinion on what a rattle is or is it a quality issue with the holster. I did call Blackhawk. The customer service person was nice but not overly knowledgeable about the holster.

Hmmm...

I had the same problem with mine. I ended up putting some moleskin inside the holster. It worked like a champ and eliminated all of the noise.

No problems at all

I'm perfectly pleased with my Blackhawk. It's great to have a holster that works so well. I have mine adjusted to release readily, but there's no excessive rattle.

My OD green XD45 Tactical fits very nice into my Serpa also. I have slight movement in the holster with the tension adjusted to my wishes but nothing I consider unusual.

The fix for my daily carry blackhawk was to heat it up with my wifes hair dryer. After getting it sufficiently hot, i squeezed it from top to bottom. With the holster still hot, put the gun in to make sure you didn't go to far. Fixed.
