New XD, 3gun match and Arredondo extensions.

Well I shot my new/like new CC/Robar XD yesterday for the first time. I had bought the plus 3 extensions and springs from arredondo and had some interesting results. First off I love the gun. The CC trigger is great.
The arredondo mag extensions are a mixed bag. While I can get 16 in them when I do its almost impossible to insert one on a closed bolt and even then had a couple occurances of the mag falling out after the first shot so it must not have been seated all the way. Second on at least 4 occasions when doing a reload from slide lock with a 16 round mag the slide released on its own
My temporary fix was to replace the wolf/arredondo springs with the slightly shorter oem springs and only load 15. Thats how I used it today in a 3 gun match While I only did 2 reloads they went smooth.
Im going to play with the mags and short springs some more but for the next week untill I use it in a big match Im just going with the 15 rounds and shoot in limited class.
The stages for next weekend are posted so one round wont make a difference.
Love the gun. Anyone want to buy a like new Springer TRP Stainless??
