Awesome Deal

I found a XD-45 Bi-Tone Tactical at the fun shop today. It was used but very lightly. Not even a smiley yet on the barrel. First thing I noticed is it has a aftermarket guide rod and spring. Which one I'm not real sure but figured it to be a bonus. Came with the whole 06' package and a fired casing with the date of 11/27/06. Ok, are you ready for this ? It was marked at $450.00 and I purchased it for $400.00 plus tax making it $424.00 out the door price!!!

Powerball drawing is Saturday. Might be worth a shot.... pun intended

They also had a XD-45 Bi-tone Service right next to it for the same price and I'm willing to bet it could have been bought for $400.00 also.

I took the tactical to the range today and tried some 200gr SWC's and even with a shorter OAL it was FTE. I also fired some Winchester HP and ran just fine with those. Bright side is I'll use the SWC's for my 1911's and I just ordered some BushWhacker hard cast 200gr RN for the XD. Just like a woman, gotta give her what she wants!

We just got one in at our store, a XD45 Tactical, probable around a thousand rounds, 5 mags, but no case or holsters or anything like that, but it we were selling it for $385! My coworker bought it that night, and I told him that was a steal around here. Now im gonna have to take him shooting so I can shoot it.

Man and I thought getting mine marked down from $560 to $499 was a good deal. You should be ashamed of your self.

SWCs are the one round the XDs just plain don't like. I have tried different OALs and different crimps and still not luck. Moly coated is a little better but not what I would call reliable, so the SWC go in the 1911 and the RN go in the XD.
