.45ACP service won't load a round!

This crap XD is about to get sold. I've had it for four months and I've put around 1k rounds through it. I've cleaned it after each trip to the range including the magazines. This thing refuses to load ANYTHING. It jams 6-7 times per 13 round magazine. Most of the time the bullet gets lodged in at a weird angle and you just have to slingshot the slide back. Other times the bullet never leaves the mag. The first failure to load happened at 250 rounds, then a few more at 500ish, now I'm at 1k rounds and it's like this. It does this with both mags. Please tell me that these magazines aren't THAT sh*ty. No way am I buying replacement mags every couple months.

I have put thousands of rounds through my XD45 without a hiccup. No failure of any king on any stock magazines. As stated above, the gun has a lifetime warranty on it - use it as there is obviously a problem. There are hundreds of us here who have never experienced the problems you are describing. It is an issue with a defect with your pistol.

Of course, if all I am doing by typing is feeding a troll, I hope you enjoy the advice anyway!

If you are in the Triangle area let me know when and where you are be at a local range and I'll be happy to take a look at it.

I guess I'll give SA a call tomorrow. What makes me so mad is the fact that the majority of XDs never have a problem but mine HAS to break. I have the worst luck with things. Would it matter to SA that I have the Springer sear kit that Pistol Gear sells? It did this before and after the kit.

Thanks,
Jesse

P.S. No, I'm not a troll.

They may reverse that kit if you send it in. Ask for the parts back if they do.

Bring the gun back to stock, and if the problem continues send it to SA saying to fix or replace it. When it comes back, replace the upgrades. Seems to be the cleanest way to get it fixed, and not get into a pissing match about the mods with the factory. No?
