Canyon Creek Spring Pack - Opinions?

I have a new XD45 service. The stock trigger pull isn't bad, but is a tad heavier than I'd like. As an easy remedy, I'm thinking seriously about installing the 4 springs in the Canyon Creek Spring Pack ($20). My intention is NOT to transform my XD45 into a competition gun, but simply to make it a little more shootable and easier on the trigger finger.

A super crisp trigger and an ultra short trigger reset isn't my goal right now; I may install a new sear later.

I'd really like to hear from forum members who have installed just the spring pack and get your thoughts and opinions.

If this has been discussed before, perhaps you can provide a link or two.
Thanks.

I'm wondering the same. Someone out there must have done the springs only. Obviously it isn't going to be anything like a nice trigger job but I'm curious what results people have had.

All it will do is lighten up the trigger pull and will not reduce the pre-travel. Save your money and buy the kit with the sear from Springer Precision and you don't have to mess with it again.

I understand that - I read the brief item description. So, getting back to my question, have YOU installed just the spring pack? Please describe the BEFORE and AFTER results.
