My 22 suppressor should be in at the C3 right now, it is a tactical innovations, they make cans that you can take apart and clean internally, they also explain WHY they do so on their webpage.

Many users fire tens of thousands of rounds thru sealed suppressors with no problems.

A true gas operated semiauto in 9mm would be my first choice for a centerfire semiauto pistol suppressor http://remtek.com/arms/hk/civ/p7/p7.htm, these do not need the linear inertial de-coupler(recoil enhancer) I mentioned earlier needed on recoil operated pistols.

I have seen one person use Diet Dr. pepper in a suppressor, heard of using water, shaving cream.

BTW suppressors ARE legal in WA, you just cannot legally fire a shot thru one in WA.

That mac 10 can is a LOT bigger than your going to mount on a handgun

Really?

I had a video of Steve? from Adco firing his RRA 1911 and he dipped it in a bucket of water and screwed it on. that thing was pretty quiet. Many people use water because it's readily available and the cheapest option, but I've heard of people using ultrasound gel; wd40; and liquids made specifically for shooting a can wet.

Some makers of suppressors say water can be corrosive to the internals, well water mixed with by products of burnt powder. Water is typically not PH neutral either.

The only time stuff like that is really NEEDED imho is when your using a can designed as an artificial environment can, there ARE some made, they are much smaller than a normal can, they are expressly designed to be used with grease or another ablative substance...probably what the various alphabet agents use on their black missions (no kidding here)

This is true technically, but there is NO provision for LEO exception.
Should you be charged with shooting a legal supressed weapon and you have $25,000, your lawyer will easily get you off.. which is why nobody has ever been charged under this law in the state.

Contact Shooters depot at the link below. They are THE experts on supressors and will be able to tell you exactly the decible reduction for guns they support. They make the Ruger .22 integrated silencer pistol which is awesome!

i second the idea of getting the p22 with the can for a couple of reasons its cheaper to shot and is movie quite although it doesnt have the cool sound that movies have its also cheaper to buy and it will last a higher number of rounds since it doesnt have as big of a bang but if it is between 9mm or 45 i would go with the 45 so you dont have to try and find 9mm subsonic since almost all 45 is sub
