Cool IDPA & USPSA Acceptable Holsters

I have an XD-45ACP Compact and I want to start competing in some of the shooting tournaments. Does anyone know what companies have holsters that will fit my weapon that meet the requirements for both or either of the competitions mentioned previously?

you're XDGEAR holster will work for USPSA. Not sure about IDPA.

I used my XDGEAR for a few matches then went to SERPA CQC

Safariland 6280 will be a nice holster for your XD45...I have one and love it.
If you have the tactical, I believe the model number is 6285.

Any holster will probably work for your local IDPA. I think the requirement is you can't see light between the holster and the belt. I've given up on trying to figure it out, and just use my Blackhawk.

I use either a Don Hume leather OT holster, or my Serpa (once you get used to the retention system). Like mentioned above you can use your XD gear holster for IDPA

Keep in mind most local clubs are pretty lenient on newbies. It's when you get to regional and state matches is when the rules are really enforced. Go shoot with your standard XD Gear stuff for now.

Thanks

Thanks to everyone for their encouragement and suggestions. I have decided to just go and see what happens at a local event. If I like what is going on then I will invest some time and money into getting different gear. I will keep all your opinions on holsters in a file for future reference.

The Blade Tech Sting Ray Holster will work for both IDPA and USPSA without having to change any parts over.
