@ the risk of being flamed... boring gun :(

Ok, if some can't read the little bit of sarcasim...

Anyone else find their XD45's so consistantly accurate that it's getting a little boring to shoot? It's like every time I take her to the range, it just keeps getting better and better but there's not much challenge any more.

There is hope on the horizon. A new challenge... Black Badge course for IPSC coming in September. So that will give me a whole new reason to be excited about my XD45 once again!

Anyways, just wondering if others felt the same way.

Yeah, my XD-45 is so freaking boring, that I'd bet my life on it!

The stupid thing always puts a hole where I tell it to. Sigh.

Mix it up. Shoot one handed. Strong hand then weak hand. Get targets that have several aimpoints. Put two rounds in each aimpoint.

The last time I was at the range there was this guy and what I guessed was his parents teaching his wife how to shoot in the booth next to mine when I walked in. I hung my target and hit the button to move it out to the same distance as theirs. Took my 45 out of the case, loaded, and proceeded to put shot after shot into the center rings of the target, I was doing so well I tried some head shots too on the target with a very tight group. They stopped shooting and watched me for a bit with lots of oooo's and ahhhh's lol . The guy in the booth on the other side me asked about my .45 because he said he could feel the blast in the other stall and wanted to know what I was shooting. Needless to say I am not bored and this pistol makes it look like I know what I'm doing.

Shoot smiley faces on your silhouette targets, then.

Bree's Boring Challenge
See if you can park 11 rounds on target at 21 feet within 10 seconds and make one single hole no more than 1/2" in diameter.

Ohhh OK... You can go to 1" in diameter!

Careful - you might want to do this someplace outdoors...otherwise the "Range Nazi's" will kick you out. Only one shot per 3 seconds is the rule.
