tennvol XDTalk Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 52	Compact Grip vs Double Stack 1911 I'm going to buy one locally in a day or two as soon as I divert funds from the wife. A few years ago I carried a Para Ord P13 (13+1, Commander length slide and grip) in a VM2. I never had any problems with the setup other than it was heavy despite the gun having a alloy frame. Does anyone know how the Compact grips width and length compare with the P13?
