It looks very nice. However, it's no fun to carry against bare skin (i've been forced to do that a few times)

Can't be any worse than the Monkeygrips I have for my Kimber and EMP. Actually, I bet the monkeygrips are MUCH worse because of the serrations.

I carry every day in the pants against bare skin -- its a little, and I do mean a little uncomfortable -- but not an issue at all for me.

The sharpness of the stippling can be reduced somewhat by running a lighter flame over the textured areas. Don't keep it in any one place too long; only a second or so to melt the fine tips of the stippling. Also, you can take a very fine grit sandpaper and buff the textured areas enough to knock the points off.
