with a slight hint of doubt!

How would one polish the feed ramp oneself? Small Dremel buffing wheel and jewler's rouge? Just guessing.

Actually it is better to use fine emery cloth or sand paper 360 grit or finer wrapped around an cartridge case. Polish by hand in the direction of the cartridge path removing all the machining marks. You do not want to change the ramp angle so remove only enough material to remove the marks. You can then use the dremel with extra fine rouge (green) if you want . The same is true for the taper into the chamber. It's not hard to do.
