Does SA really make a 4" or 5" Compact Earth Tone? - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

I've been searching for a couple of months now to find an XD-45ACP Compact in the Dark Earth color. I would go for either the 4" or 5" barrel, although I would prefer the 5".

Local stores tell me they can't order them and have never actually seen one, although they are listed in SA's catalog (model XD9647HCSP06 4 INCH COMPACT DARK EARTH and model XD9657HCSP06 5 INCH COMPACT DARK EARTH). I've also searched online, figured I'd go the ship to FFL route.

Do these models really exist? Anyone ever actually seen them for sale? Any suggestions?

Contact SA customer service directly. I was looking for a .40 SC in OD green in May, and was told the production date was planned for September. They're scheduling production on a popular handgun, and some don't get into the schedule as soon as others. My dealer had no idea, I had to tell him.
