Right as the LWSC noses into the chamber, there is a ring 'o lead. However, these are old, very soft bullets I used to use in my bullseye Gold Cup - I doubt anyone makes bullets this soft anymore and the company itself is out of business now. Even in my Gold Cup I had to put a drop of oil on the top of each magazine loaded to keep the chamber all lubed-up to prevent this from happening (and old bullseye trick), so the bullets themselves are CRAP!

repeat of info in the thread, check your crimp. HUGE!! My .45 was jammed up good because I didn't crimp properly. I purchased a case gauge from Dillon, great tool for random checks of OAL.

I haven't had any feed issues when using the same reloads with my XD45 and 1911. Just accuracy. The XD doesn't like minimal or max loads where the 1911 tends to prefer lighter loads.
With a little experimenting, I got them where they both like around 4.8-4.9 grains of 231. SWC issue... you're going to have to try yours. Some do & some don't feed. Mine does with 1.225 OAL and taper crimp.
