loose barrel?
does anyone elses .45 barrel seem loose when the slide is back?

Yes, it's going to fall off. send it to me and I will fix it.......
It's ok. When the gun is in the fire position, when the slide is forward is where the barrel has to be tight. When the slide is back, as in ejecting a shell, it will be loose.

It is A-Ok. That's how the Browning Tilt-Barrel type of action works.

You're going to have a lot of fun with your XD45. The smart design of the XD firearm and the strong wag of the .45ACP makes for a great handgun that is fun and easy to shoot, yet won't kidd you about its power. Compared to a GLOCK, the SA trigger is smoother and more crisp, and this slight safety disadvantage is more than recovered by the grip safety.
