I hate to perpetuate thia thread but I have three 13 round magazines and a 10 round "California Special" magazine because I live on the Nevada/California border and none of my magazines clack.

I used every one of them yesterday with 250 rounds. I made it a point to try and make them rattle because of this thread.

Maybe it happens when the spring loosens up?

No biggie - just thought I'd comment.

But my 10rnd shorty clacked and rattled right out of the box, brand new. I think a mag will just either rattle or it won't. I tried switching followers with the 13rnd, not it only rattles with pressure applied to the top round on a full mag.

Go figure.
