Finally joined the XD-45 club!!
I got me a brand new XD-45 ACP Tactical. I stopped by my local gun range and they had them in stock ( finally ). They wanted $559 but b/c of all the gun purchases I do with them they let me have it for $499. Can't wait to go home in two weeks to shoot it.

Yes, working offshore for two weeks can suck at time but having two weeks off to do what I want is great. I guess that is the advantage of working 14/14. I found some Blazer Brass at Wal-Mart for $11.87 a box. I looked at MidwayUSA and they wanted about $18 a box. I guess the Wal-Mart price is a good deal so on the way home I'll go get all they have. I think the have about 5 boxes.

Welcome to the Club, Brothaa. You will be just blown away at how nice that gun is to shoot. I got mine, after a long wait to come in, and shot it recently. Lordy, Lordy. What a blast. Get lots of ammo. Try to go by a rule that was posted here recently; Get a Box a week. I am working that deal, just that I am sure I will shoot more that a box a week. My first time out with the .45XD, I went thru about 250-300 rounds.
