newbie questions, please help - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Hey guys, this is my second XD45. I had a 5inch GAP, but now have a 4inch ACP. I saw some cool pictures earlier of stuff being milled(like the very front of the slide)... I was wondering what kind of stuff if there to do that is easy and sets the gun apart from the other "stock" guns. Thanks guys!

haha.. i was waiting on someone to say that! I am a car guy, so I am always looking for little ways to make mine different. I didn't know if you could polish this or that, or that kind of stuff!

Well I've seen Old School's 'flame' job on one of his XDs, I've seen pink and blue XDs and some like to crayon their engravings. A few of us have made 'compact' models before Springfield did it to the .45...

I'd check out the XD picture thread. There is bound to be some ideas for you in there.

I buy a box everytime I go to walmart I am up around 700 rounds!

I dunno though... I like the stock look of my XD .45c
