How many have had trouble free xd45's

I am the new owner of an xd 45 and i'm curious if the xd45 is as trouble free as the Glock 45's. I have always owned Glocks and am wondering on ther reliability.

Well in the first 150 rounds I had a few where the slide would lock open with rounds still in the mag. Cleaned the gun and went to the range again and put a few hundred more....without an issue. I have owned a few Glocks over the years...bought a 17 when they first hit the US. Never had a failure on any of them. Personally I think the XD is a better value, but for reliability I think it is going to take a few more years before anyone can say for sure.

Please, allow me...

Sorry!! Couldn't resist. Anyways, my XD has never caused me any problems, and I am supremely happy with it.

Since the XD is the first gun i have ever owned so I can't really say to much about Glocks. All I know is that my XD has never given me any trouble.

I have had absolutely no problems with my XD45 in the two years I have owned it. It functions flawlessly.

Well I see t more of keeping people informed. New members join everyday and this info is valuable. While my issues with my XD-45 have ironed out...I did have a few malfunctions during the first couple hundred rounds. Imaging the look on my face if I had not broken in my XD-45 and it failed me when I really needed it.

Do you really think it would be better if these threads disappear? Or just better for you?
