Hey, had no trouble removing and installing the "H" rear sight Springfield sent me. More of a pain with the micrometer and brass punch trying to get it lined up again. I think two more light whacks and I got the windage back to where it should be.

For those who had problems with the XD45 shooting low, mine was too with the factory "G" sight but the higher "H" sights put elevation near to where it should be at 15m and beyond. No more aiming for the top of the 8.5x11 photocopy paper targets.

He was shooting LOW, so you raise rear sight or lower front

Oops, sorry for the confusion. Just a lot of users had problems removing and installing the sights. Mine came off no problem with the brass punch.

Just getting the new one on was a pain because I had to measure and make sure it was close to where the original one was. It went on easy enough, just fine tuning...
