"About as important as color is on a car..."

FWIW, I personally dont care for 2 tone guns. As already stated, for just shooting pleasure, color doesnt matter, for personal defense I perfer a none reflective a finish whether its a park/matte.

Now as far as my truck/car------IT HAS TO BE RED! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

The OD ones shoot bullets with about 10 more horsepower, but the Tan ones never jam.

Importance of color = zero.

Personal preference = everything.

I don't think it matters. I chose Flat dark earth because they didn't have OD in stock and everyone else has a BLACK gun. I just wanted to be different.

Yep, my baby-poo blaster hasn't jammed once in 1,212 rounds!

Thank you for the chuckles, Rod! Your first post here is a classic. This C U P advice of yours is something that may have a lot of applications in the world of guns and gun-related material.

As I continue to ponder my choices, I may have to toss a cow chip into the stream and see which way it floats before I can make up my feeble mind!

Uh, oh! My BS meter is pegging out, making me think that you are trying to exert pressure on my lower appendage! Thanks for your reply, as well as all the others.

It's an investment that will bring you a load of joy. You may as well buy what you will enjoy looking at everyday.
Personally, I like to have something a little different than (stock) or that most people own. That's why I color, customize, alter most of my "toy" firearms.

i agree....mine looks really cool w/ Duracoat desert tan (Sand) and black (slide, grips, trigger). i like the way it looks and that's what matters. Get the Black and if you want to color it something else later after you've thought it thru.
