Just ordered one.....what you all's opinion on it? Already have a bunch of 45's, so I wanted to go with a 9mm..........less recoil, cheaper ammo

Well since this is the 45ACP discussion room

I think it is too big of a pistol for the caliber

I prefer my 9's to be subcompacts. But for a range blaster/game gun I think the size of the "tac" is great.

I'm all over the 9T bandwagon. I've got 3 9S's and a 9SC. I'm looking for a 9T, but striking out. Actually, the .45 and the 9 feel about the same when shooting. The .40 is harsher than both, but when going from the .45 to the 9, I can't tell much of a difference. IMO, the 9 benefits from more barrel. It's basically the lightest thing you want to stake your life on and anything that will give it a bit more velocity is good in my book. I carry the 9SC on occasion, but I'd rather have more barrel.
