Good Price?
I'm considering picking up a 4" .45 compact. The best price I have found locally is $449.99. I have been browsing the threads but haven't seen price info. recently discussed. Sorry if this is horribly redundant. What do you guys think? I haven't decided yet whether I am going to buy new or try and trade someone one of my M&P compacts.

Here in North Carolina, the 45 compact is going for $549 at Gander Mountain.

That is a great price. I paid 479.99 for my DE service at my local shop. I saw them at the gun show for 460$ out the door, but then again that is the gun show. I say pick it up!
