Unhappy Jammed with a new Ported Barrel!!!!

I just put in a EFK Fire Dragon 5" ported barrel. Try to cock it... it jammed. Any ideas to unjam it? Other then taking it to a gunsmith.

And, what model/Cal XD?

bbl is an abreviation for barrel. And some bbls need to get fitted. If they don't, they are called drop-in. I'm no gunsmith, but that's what I've picked up around here.

If I'm seeing that correctly, your whole bbl shifted forward?

Your feed ramps is caught on your locking block. Take a dowel rod that is bigger than the chamber and place it over the chamber and hammer it forward.

Did you not have it fitted first???

Unhappy

NOT fitted...didn't say it needed it. Some "Lightly polishing may be required for fitting at the points shown." It fit fine....then went to rack it and it jammed.
