That may work cause if I remember right the locking block comes out by lifting up and slightly back. If nothing else it might give you enough play to get things loose and the bbl move...

You got your gut stuck between a ....... never mind you know.

Is your pistol a ported version??? Your pistol looks like a service model am I right??? If so why a 5" barrel???

The dowel is a good idea.... best I can figure is that you guide rod slipped off the bbl, allowing it to move forward.

Texasm...I think your right. The dowel didn't work. The locking block is where?? The disassembly lever??

Found the locking block and pins... 2 pins... put to much to do. I'm a rookie... I'll take it into the gunsmith... hopefully it won't cost to much. Thanks for all your help guys. Catch you later.

If it jams again when you try to rack the slide, then it's likely that the locking lugs need a little friendly filing.
