Picked out the holster..

http://www.comp-tac.com/catalog/prod...cab1546d8ce5b0

Been recommended by a few people.. I just need a belt holster (I don't like the one provided).

I see that I have to provide a belt size.... guess I'll have to get a belt with it.

The ones they have listed are 75... no way am I spendin that amount.

What other belts are good? Or does it matter?

Holster

I HAVE TRIED A COUPLE FOR MY XD45,13RD MAGAZINE. It is called GUNMATE a 15-20$ holster use it every day. It has no strap or try a BULLDOG w/Magazine holder. I can't afford to high price holsters mine is fine easy to draw from and reholster pistol excellent for wear in front w/o any discomfort if you get the drift.I am not comfortable to wear the dual magazine holder.I put my two extras in my front pockets of my cargo pants or my suit coat. Try them cheap first the gradually move to a more expensive on

Yeah. As a matter of fact, it does matter...a lot. You buy an el cheapo belt, you get el cheapo belt service. Simple as that...just like anything else. You get what you pay for.

If you want the service and support from a gunbelt you need to hold that heavy piece in place, and keep it from bouncing around when you walk/run, and be in place when the sh*t hits the fan, and you have to present your weapon in a life-threatening situation, you'll be glad you invested in quality materials.

My Mitch Rosen belt cost over $100. It shows, in quality, performance, and appearance. It'll last probably longer than I will. "No way" you're "spendin that amount"? OK. Enjoy your junk.

I dont think the price has much to do with it, it is true you get what you pay for, but at the same time some people dont always need/want all the bells and whistles. Find what you need/want, cheap isnt always the best route find a comfotable price doesnt have to be the most expensive or the cheapest. one man's junk is another mans treasure.

Thats not cool. Not everyone is on the same budget as you. If I wanted I could have got Mitch Rosen gear, nice and preety but the amount of time it takes to wait, several months. Its not worth it to me. I have had my Galco belts for 5 years, the COP belt shows more wear than the contour belt, contoured is I feel the way to go less stress on the belt leather. Look at older belts you have they probably have been reshaped in the middle area.

Here is s a less expensive option. Galco 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" COP belt. I also got the 1 1/4" contoured dress belt. If you dont want to wait for weeks on end waiting to get it from a custom shop, then Galco is the way to go. As long as its in stock, you will get it in about a week. What I like about these belts is that they are thick to support the weight of the gun.
Do a search on Google or Yahoo, you will find places that sell it cheaper than Galco. Like here for $43 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 $48.
http://www.productwizard.com/galcobelts.html they also have Don Hume belts.
Galco Belts

COP Belt...............................1 1/4" Dress Belt
..

Don Hume also sells less expensive belts.
