I have the TLR-2 on my 45compact service. Works great!, not too long

Long and Short (pun intended) ... yes it does and it fits well. My only recommendation for any weapon light is to put a very light coating of CLP on the lens. This doesn't effect the beam at all, but will save you mucho time cleaning the carbon on the lens
