Can anyone tell me where the bears brain or heart is in this picture? Where is the best location on a charging bears head is to put a bullet through a very thick skull that is not holding still for your perfect shot, while about 2 gallons of adrenaline is running through your body, and your brain is telling you to run like the devil is on your tail?

Remember, a charging bear will be coming straight at you, head slightly down, bounding up and down, some side to side motion, and then maybe leap straight into you so you go down like a sack of taters with 500 pounds or more of teeth and claw on top of you?

Wear a bell so the bears can hear you coming and have a chance to get away from you before you even know they are there. Use the fire extinguisher can of pepper spray, make sure it makes a foggy cloud of chemical that the bear has to run into to get to you, not a stream that you will shoot under or over the bears face and make you a spicy little treat. Or carry a gun that will put down a bear right now.

Or, stay out of bear country. The odds of an attack are pretty slim to begin with, so carry a .22lr handgun They are light, and the ammo is cheap so you can practice a lot.

MONTANA GRIZZLY BEAR NOTICE:
In light of the rising frequency of human/grizzly bear conflicts, the Montana Department of Fish and Game is advising hikers, hunters, and fishermen to take extra precautions and keep alert for bears while in the field.

We advise that outdoorsmen wear noisy little bells on their clothing so as not to startle bears that aren't expecting them. We also advise outdoorsmen to carry pepper spray with them in case of an encounter with a bear. It is also a good idea to watch out for fresh signs of bear activity. Outdoorsmen should recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear poop. Black bear poop contains lots of berries and squirrel fur. Grizzly bear poop has little bells in it and smells like pepper.
